A brief description of the sustainable compensation standards, guidelines, or policies; and/or collective bargaining agreements covering staff, faculty and/or employees of contractors:
Labor and Employee Relations works to promote a positive and productive relationship between the CSU and its faculty and staff. We negotiate collective bargaining agreements and oversee the proper implementation of contractual terms, thereby ensuring fair and consistent treatment for every CSU employee. Collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) establish terms of employment (benefits, compensation, etc.) between employee unions and employers. Labor and Employee Relations negotiates collective bargaining agreements with CSU employee unions to provide superior career opportunities in order to cultivate and maintain a talented, highly skilled workforce. We also support campus labor relations departments in interpreting and administering current collective bargaining agreements.
