A brief description of how the figure above was determined:

The Office of Sustainability reviewed the department-level learning outcomes of every academic program to identify those that included sustainability-related student learning outcomes. We then contacted the university’s Institutional Research & Analytics (IRA) department to request the total number of graduates (undergrad and grad) from the academic year 2018-19 and the total number of graduates (undergrad and grad) from programs that were identified as containing sustainability-related learning outcomes.

A total of 7 undergraduate and graduate (where applicable) programs with sustainability learning outcomes were identified and the number of graduates from those programs was used to tabulate the reported number.

B.F.A. Interior Design
Students will possess the knowledge of materials, basic understanding of manufacturing process, lighting systems and sustainable design resources as they relate to interior architecture.

B.S. Civil Engineering
Students will have the ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability. The broad education necessary to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental, and societal context.

B.S. Computer Engineering
Students will have the ability to design a system, component or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability and sustainability. Understanding the impact of engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental and societal context.

B.S. Mechanical Engineering
Students will have the ability to design a system, component or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability and sustainability.

B.S Aerospace Engineering
Students will be trained in the role of the engineer in society, and have an awareness of environmental concerns in the engineering profession.
