Students:
Student Wellness strives to heal and support the Titan community through accessible, high-quality care and prevention education.
-Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) provides a variety of clinical services designed to meet the many different concerns experienced by CSUF students. http://www.fullerton.edu/studentwellness/
-Health Services (HS) is the organization responsible for the health care of the students on campus. Students are encouraged to be a partner in their health and health care and to engage in conversations with their health care providers about treatment options and alternatives, effective prevention techniques and strategies, and appropriate testing, results and medications. HS is fully accredited by the Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care.
-TitanWell is responsible for the promotion of healthy choices and behaviors amongst our diverse Titan community through individual counseling, group presentations, outreach events, and peer-to-peer education.
Staff and Faculty:
CSUF is committed to a culture promoting wellness through healthy lifestyles that enhance the quality of life for our faculty and staff. A lifestyle of wellness assists individuals achieve a high level of well-being by integrating body, mind and spirit. Cal State Fullerton encourages faculty and staff to participate in programs and activities contributing to their wellness and the wellness of our campus community. https://hr.fullerton.edu/total-wellness/wellness/
Students, Staff and Faculty:
Additionally, CSUF joined with St. Jude Medical Center in a 3 year commitment with Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA). CSUF formed a Wellness Counsel to create a campus environment that encourages and supports greater physical activity and healthier eating habits for all students, faculty and staff. In 2021, the Wellness Council and St. Jude celebrated the designation of a 2-mile campus walking path available for the entire campus community.
In addition, during the Covid-19 pandemic the campus took critical steps to ensure the healthy and safety of its members. This included shifting the campus community to Zoom, offering healthy and wellness resources, and developing safety guidelines.

Per Executive Order 1108 (https://calstate.policystat.com/policy/6591951/latest/), all CSU campuses will be smoke and tobacco free as of September 1, 2017.
The CSU Chancellor’s Office issued an executive order announcing a system-wide policy that all 23 campuses will become smoke and tobacco free. The policy will apply to all students, faculty, staff, volunteers, contractors or vendors, and visitors. It also covers all University buildings, including residence halls, and off-campus buildings like the HSU Aquatic Center in Eureka and the Telonicher Marine Lab in Trinidad.
The policy prohibits the use of cigarettes, cigars, pipes and other smoke emitting products, including e-cigarettes and vapor devices. Further definitions are provided in the executive order, which is available online.
“A cornerstone of the California State University and higher education is the principle of one’s individual freedom to learn, teach, work, think, and take part in their intellectual and career endeavors in a fulfilling, rewarding, safe, and healthy environment,” the Executive Order states.
