There is significant signage around campus regarding water savings. When restroom upgrades are completed, stickers are placed at each faucet and sink that show the water savings from each project.

A brief description of the institution's initiatives to replace plumbing fixtures, fittings, appliances, equipment, and systems with water-efficient alternatives (e.g. building retrofits):
The campus is currently upgrading existing faucets with 372 (each) 0.5 GPM faucets in 12 campus buildings. We are also upgrading 110 dishwashers in Housing. This project is being funded by a grant from the Department of Water Resources. The purpose of the grant is to identify the GHG reductions by using less water (water-energy nexus). The projected GHG reduction for the project is 30,637 metric tons.
