A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:
Dr. Ali Izadian's (Associate Vice President of Capital Programs & Facilities Management) goal is to lower our reliance on gas-powered vehicles, because of state mandates to lower tail-pipe emissions and rising fuel costs. This is in addition to complying with Executive Order B-16-12 (Zero Emission Vehicle Purchases) and State University Administrative Manual 9171 (attached).
