A brief description of the methodology used to determine the total number of courses offered and to identify sustainability course offerings, including the definitions used and the process for reviewing and/or validating the course inventory :
Methodology: In 2015, a keyword search was developed by one (1) faculty member, and two (2) staff members. The Institution's Course Catalog was reviewed and applicable Sustainability/ Sustainability-Included courses were identified, either from the course's title or brief description. Along with this review, a faculty survey had been previously conducted to identify Sustainability/ Sustainability-Included courses.
In 2018, the course inventory was updated following the same methodology, using a keyword search developed by one (1) faculty member and one (1) administrator. An online curriculum management system was searched to identify Sustainability and Sustainability-Included courses added to the campus curriculum since 2015. Additionally, five courses that were listed in 2015 in error were removed.
