A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome :
The Environmental Health and Safety Office has developed the Hazardous Materials Management Program to help ensure the proper storage, handling, and disposal of chemical, medical and radioactive materials on campus. It also ensures protection of University personnel from the hazards associated with hazardous materials and waste.
