CSUF uses National Survey of Student Engagement. The Survey asks series of questions related to interactions with persons who are different from them. Information about this assessment can be found at: http://www.fullerton.edu/analyticalstudies/surveys/CSUF_NSSE2001_Means.pdf The Division of Student Affairs at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) systematically collects data pertaining to student experiences in the co-curriculum. Data collected by the Division of Student Affairs assesses five student learning domains including Diversity and Global Consciousness. National Survey of Student Engagement Survey results are reviewed by the student academic life committee, administrators, deans, department chairs, and faculty with an eye toward modifying/enhancing/changing existing efforts to enhance student learning to provide the best possible experience for all of our students. Division of Student Affairs assessment efforts contribute to the improvement of programs and services and provide information on student satisfaction, program evaluation, utilization data, student learning and more. With student success as the guiding principle, Student Affairs advances holistic student learning by creating meaningful connections through educationally purposeful activities.
