Does the institution donate leftover or surplus food?:
Yes
A brief description of the food donation program:
On-Campus Dining Services: Managers actively plan and prepare to avoid a daily surplus of food. However, if an excess occurs, we donate supplies to a local shelter, the Fullerton Woman’s Transitional Living Center.
Housing and Resident Life "Gastronome": No food donation is made because all food is made to order and cooked in small batches, so there is very little leftover or surplus food. Most all leftover foods are repurposed in soups, salads, croutons, and additional baked goods (crumb crusts and toppings, bread pudding, etc).
