The Academic Senate has a Committee for Faculty Equity and Diversity, whose mission is "to monitor faculty issues related to equal opportunity, discrimination, and harassment; and increase campus awareness so that consistent compliance with policies and regulations is an integral part of campus operations."
The student government (Associated Students, Inc.) has a Sustainability Committee, chaired by the Senator for Sustainability, is responsible for implementing initiatives within ASI and the University that consider and integrate sustainability into all aspects of our campus, including, but not limited to the following: operations, academics, engagement, campus planning, and administration. This committee shall work in collaboration with the Office of the President, Sustainable-related Clubs/Organizations, WET Center, Fresno State facilities, and Campus Planning Committee in order to support the integration of Sustainability on Fresno State’s campus.
