A brief description of the institution’s green infrastructure and LID practices:
Campus green infrastructure and LID stormwater management strategies are used that infiltrate, filter, store, evaporate, and detain runoff close to the source of rainfall. Any subsequent runoff is captured, stored in one of our retention basins, and redistributed on the 1011-acre campus farm (University Agricultural Laboratory).
