Continuing and Global Education at Fresno State and the American Water College have established a partnership to offer certificate programs for water and utility specialists to advance our community's understanding of water uses, services, treatments, and/or management. People who enroll in one of these certificate programs can receive Fresno State professional development credit and certificates of completion. Below are the certificate programs that people can enroll in:
Certificate in Water Treatment Technology - A five module, one-year, online program focusing on water sources, water treatment, and applied chemistry.
Certificate in Water Transmission Technology - A five module, six-month, online program focusing on water transmission and distribution, water quality, and applied hydraulics.
Certificate in Water Treatment and Transmission Technology - A ten module, one-year, online program that combines the water treatment and water technology curricula.
Certificate in Effective Utility Management - A six module program that combines classroom and online training on utility management, regulation, leadership, and strategy.
