Research Inventory
Inventory of the institution’s sustainability research:
---
A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:
An inventory of all research projects was obtained through the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs. They highlighted research specifically related to sustainability, which can be seen in Column Q in the inventory sheet. The inventory lists principal investigators and departments involved for each research project, which we used to find the numbers reported here. Numbers listed in this reporting tool refer to approved projects for AY 2021-2022.

Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
All projects identified in the submitted inventory are sustainability research projects. Projects that list a Dean's Office or Provost Office as the home department were excluded since the faculty/staff in those offices do not necessarily conduct the research. Even though there are about 43 projects listed in the inventory, some of the researchers are listed on more than one research project. We only count a specific faculty/staff member once to avoid double counting.
