Clean Air Cool Planet calculator (CACP) was the main tool used to complete the GHG emissions inventory. We also utilize Sustainability Indicator Management & Analysis Platform (SIMAP) to track, calculate, and analyze carbon as well as nitrogen use on campus.

A brief description of the institution’s GHG emissions reduction initiatives, including efforts made during the previous three years:
The Cal State East Bay Climate Action Plan (CAP) was approved April 30, 2018. Since this time, the campus CAP Implementation Task Force has been using the Action Steps within the CAP as a guide to projects/programs that will move the campus towards carbon neutrality.

Green House Gas (GHG) Inventory Report http://www.csueastbay.edu/sustainability/files/docs/commitments/ghgreport2015.pdf Weighted Campus User in performance year for OP 1 differs from IC 3, because IC 3 indicates the current year as the performance year (AY18/19) and OP 1 indicates performance year for AY16/17 in alignment with most current greenhouse gas inventory available when this credit criteria was completed.
