Cal State East Bay's SustainEB website is the central sustainability website. It contains information in 6 areas: About, Faculty, Students, Operations, Commitments, and News & Events. The Center for Student Research funds student research. Students receive up to $1500 per year in scholarships for participating in faculty-mentored research in all disciplines, including sustainability, and may receive funding for research supplies and travel to meetings. The Student Research Symposium is held every year as part of the CSUEB Week of Scholarship. The event consist of poster presentations of student research in all disciplines, including sustainability.

The Student & Faculty Service Building is LEED Platinum certified and has signage related to the buildings environmental features in the main lobby. The Recreation & Wellness Center also features several signs that feature the sustainability aspects of the building.

In the Dining Commons, there is a "rolling wall" made up of 9 different panels containing information regarding sustainable food, responsible procurement, green buildings, energy and water conservation, transportation, and waste stream management. Other panels include information regarding Carbon Footprint reduction and food waste reduction.

Cal State East Bay employs drought signage on campus, which serves a dual purpose of educating about the drought in California and educating about our water-conservation practices at Cal State East Bay. The signs are placed on campus lawns which are not watered during droughts.
