A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory (including the types of faculty and staff included as researchers):
A Faculty Directory was created that lists the contact information and area of expertise for all Cal State East Bay Faculty. This inventory was reviewed to determine faculty that conduct sustainability research based on area of expertise. In addition, the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs was consulted for a list of faculty that have earned sustainability research grants through this office.
