Percentage of new employees that are offered orientation and/or outreach and guidance materials that cover sustainability topics:

A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
All new employees are given a Green Guide pamphlet that addresses campus services and sustainable practices at their New Employee Orientation (mandatory for all new staff and faculty). This is tailored to their user behavior on campus, including resources for supporting a reduce-reuse-recycle mentality (e.g. access to the campus furniture sharing program, ergonomic loaner chair program, hydration station locations, etc.), how to use the advanced lighting control panels to turn down/off lights, and alternative transportation incentive programs.

Each employee orientation also offers a giveaway of a Toro Token (required to participate in the reusable container program at Campus Dining) as part of the interactive activities.
