A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation :

The Office of Sustainability tables at the New Student Orientation for freshman, which is mandatory for all incoming freshman students as a condition of enrollment. The Office is included as part of the resource fair that the students are sent to as part of NSO programming, and allows incoming freshmen to learn more about their options for going green on campus (energy, water, food, recycling and reuse, transport, etc.), volunteer opportunities (in general sustainability as well as the Campus Urban Farm), and how to get involved.
