A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:
Included all faculty and part-time instructors actively supporting student research or directly conducting academic research related to sustainability topics based on participation in our sustainability academic infusion workshops (actual attendees and recommendations for colleagues by those attendees), participation in academic infusion efforts for sustainability (e.g. Earth Day activity, class presentations, etc.), faculty advisors from Student Research Day supporting student research on sustainability projects, and cross-verifying this potential pool of faculty to their actual laboratory research pages to evaluate whether their research was focused on sustainability projects. A campus-wide survey went out to all faculty encouraging them to self-identify any sustainability research they or students under their mentorship were conducting.
