A brief description of the program(s), including positive outcomes during the previous three years (e.g. descriptions of new courses or course content resulting from the program):

CSUDH has participated in the Campus as a Living Lab (CALL) program for the past three years formally and informally. As a result of this participation, the Biology department has integrated an on-campus native garden into several of its courses, the fall 17 Marketing 350 course conducting a survey of recycling habits on campus, and several courses will be using the new campus farm to integrate sustainability into the curriculum.


A brief description of the incentives that faculty members who participate in the program(s) receive:

The CALL program awards grants of various amounts to faculty members pursuing projects that re-design their courses around using the campus as a living laboratory.
