CI publishes quarterly and annual Sustainability Reports. These reports highlight the different sustainability efforts the campus has done during reporting period, as well as updates on campus utility usage and sustainability tips. The university also has a sustainability focused Instagram account @sustainabilityatcsuci. The account promotes campus sustainability initiatives, sustainability tips, and general information about sustainability.

CSUCI has two GreenScreens installed on campus. The GreenScreens allow sustainability topics to be communicated to CI students, staff, faculty and visitors. The GreenScreens are updated regularly, promoting sustainability efforts, green building features, sustainability projects, sustainability tips, and general awareness to the CI community.

A brief description of the sustainability walking map or tour:
An interactive map of the Hydration Stations, Environmentally Friendly Location and Alternative Transportation was designed through google maps to make sure the community knows where everything is located. The Facilities Services Sustainability Office also offers sustainability walking tours upon request. Additionally, CI students created a sustainability story map highlighting sustainability across campus.
Green living guide

A brief description of the guide for green living and/or incorporating sustainability into the residential experience:
CSUCI has produced several outreach materials to communicate green living tips. The primary publication is "The Sustainability Handbook: Your how-to guide for living (and working) with a low environmental footprint" that highlights specific tips and practices for sustainable living. We have also produced a bookmark that communicates "how to practice sustainability every day" and a rack card that features sustainable swaps for common items, such as utensils, razors, produce bags, menstrual cups, etc.
