The GO program rates individual offices based on daily practices involving energy conservation, waste reduction, and recycling. Using our GO checklist, individuals can earn one of four different levels of certification. Offices can earn seed, sprout, plant, or tree rank, depending on how many points are earned. Once certified, participants receive a badge which can be displayed in their office. https://www.csub.edu/sustainability/greenoffices/

Employee educators are selected based on interest and passion for energy reduction practices.
A brief description of the formal training that the employee educators receive to prepare them to conduct peer outreach:
The educators are trained and coordinated by the Sustainability Coordinator and sustainability student assistants.

Green Offices is funded out of the Office of the President's annual Environmental Sustainability budget.
