A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive program(s) offered by the institution, including how each program addresses the social, economic, and environmental dimensions of sustainability:
CSUB Division of Extended Education and Global Outreach (EEGO) offers various study-abroad programs through a partnership between CSU Bakersfield and the host college. There is a wide selection of programs available that engage students in various sustainability topics, including environmental sciences, renewable energy, energy and environmental politics, sustainable agriculture, and more. The programs offered range from two weeks to a full semester in length.
The sustainability course options for the 2017 to 2018 academic year include six countries, thirteen colleges and universities, and multiple programs within the institutions.
