A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
Renewable Diesel is a clean burning premium fuel engineered to maximize clean diesel engine performance. Because it meets the ASTM D975 diesel specification (ULSD) for use in all diesel engines and is chemically identical to petroleum diesel, it is a fully “drop-in” fuel. Refined from recycled fats & oils, Renewable Diesel outperforms both petroleum diesel and biodiesel in performance, emissions and value. In comparison to regular diesel, renewable is generates 34.2% less particulate matter and 14.3% less nitrogen oxide.
