The Go Green Committee has been established to identify and advance sustainable practices in programming and operations at the department level.

The Committee members rotate and volunteer to be part of the committee.

A brief description of the formal training that the employee educators receive to prepare them to conduct peer outreach:
Guests are invited to meeting to give information helpful to the goals the committee has chosen for the year. These guests are experts in their area who teach the committee about a particular sustainable program. The committee then educates their division staff about the program. For example the committee wanted to learn more about recycling, so they invited the recycling coordinator to the meeting to discuss the programs offered. The committee put together information and trained the other staff in their division about how they could turn all of their events into "zero waste" events.

There are no annual budgets and expenditures are paid by the division.
