Bronco Energy Competition

A brief description of the campaign, including how students and/or employees were engaged:

Bronco Energy Competition is an electricity and water reduction competition for the Resident Halls of Cal Poly Pomona. This competition challenges students in on-campus housing facilities to make small changes to their daily life that aim to reduce their resource usage.


A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign:

Electricity and water meters are read twice a week and compared against baseline data taken prior to the competition to measure how much the students are actually saving. The competition also establishes a culture of sustainability and impacts a student's daily life choices.
