A brief description of the child care program, policy, or practice:
The Children's Center provides Cal Poly Pomona student-parents, faculty, staff, alumni and the community with convenient and affordable preschool services and enrichment programs for school-age children, in a safe clean and educational environment.
Children are regularly provided with opportunities for early literacy, math, and science through various types of books, songs and activities. Each classroom provides a language rich environment, and each is filled with things to write with, listen to, talk about and read.
The Center is licensed by the California State Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing, and Title 22 for 71 children. The center operates on a non-discriminatory basis affording equal access to services without regard to race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry.
