A brief description of the technology used:
Many buildings on campus use motion sensors to moderate building lighting. Interior lights automatically turn off when not in use or when room is not occupied. This includes a variety of types of building spaces-- academic classrooms, offices, and lab spaces as well as central public building spaces.
