Does the institution have a wilderness or outdoors program that organizes hiking, backpacking, kayaking, or other outings for students and follows Leave No Trace principles?:
Yes
None
A brief description of the program:
Institution partners with REI’s Outdoor School and various other organizations to facilitate outdoor trips including surfing, rock climbing, kayaking, mt. biking and various others. REI is well-known for its commitment to environmental stewardship and follows the Leave No Trace principles in its outdoor programs.
CPP has not had an overnight adventure yet or any adventure that would really constitute the Leave No Trace principles, but would certainly be following those guidelines when trips of that nature are programmed.
