A brief description of the bicycle sharing program:

Bikeshare and mobility device share has been explored. Working with City on exploration and studies to determine future direction.

Yes

A brief description of the car sharing program:

Zipcar provides a self-service, on-demand car sharing program at Cal Poly. To use it, simply register as a member, reserve a car online or by phone, use the Zipcard to unlock the vehicle, and drive away. Return the car to the same location where it was picked it up. 11 vehicles on campus, rent by the day or hour, return to designated parking spot on campus.

Yes

A brief description of the incentives for fuel efficient vehicles:

Cal Poly has charging stations located in the Grand Avenue Structure and in the H-2a parking lot across from Kennedy Library to help you stay charged. Cal Poly utilizes ChargePoint charging stations on campus which are a great way to recharge your electric vehicle while you are on campus. Campus charging stations are a simple way to “top-off” while on campus.

Yes

There are 29 level 2 charging stations on campus, a map can be found here: https://afd.calpoly.edu/parking/commutingtocampus/electricvehicles

All charging stations are connected to ChargePoint and provide insight on monthly energy consumption per charger. 8 Additional chargers were recently install in Late 2022.

Yes

A brief description of other programs or initiatives to encourage more sustainable modes of transportation and/or reduce the impact of student and employee commuting:

All EV charging stations and carpool parking spots are located in premium parking lot locations. Additionally, people who register with irideshare.org then track their travel to campus using a sustainable transportation mode (walking, biking, carpooling, vanpooling, etc) receive $0.15 per trip, added to their campus ID card for use at campus dining locations. Free SLO Transit, subsidized regional transit, subsidized vanpool, and monthly and quarterly sweepstakes.
