Sustainability staff at Cal Poly serve as reviewers for a variety of conferences. Most recently the Sustainability Coordinator served on the awards review committee for the Sustainable Food and Dining category for the CA Sustainability in Higher Ed conference (CHESC) and on the Sustainability Champions award committee for the CSU Facilities Management Conference.

Cal Poly SLO sustainability staff have been participating in the development of reporting requirements for the California State University (CSU) Sustainability Policy, a system wide policy that all 23 campuses are required to complete.
