One of the 5 strategic plan sections is "Lead Responsibly" which articulates the role of sustainability in the college's mission and operations. Another goal is Cultivate Diversity: Increase racial, socioeconomic, and global diversity among students, staff, faculty, and trustees. a. Strengthen our financial aid strategy to foster diversity. b. Develop more effective relationships with local and national schools with large underrepresented populations. c. Continue to grow international enrollment from 9 percent to 12 percent in the next five years. d. Build and diversify the membership and leadership of the Board of Trustees, faculty, and staff. Develop our pedagogy and curriculum to reflect social and cultural diversity. a. Conduct an audit of diversity in the major curricula and implement a plan for ensuring that diversity is a central programmatic learning outcome. b. Strengthen Diversity Studies and its connections with other programs. c. Deepen connections between our public programming and our diverse curriculum. Build a campus community that supports and values diversity. a. Increase co-curricular events and forums that address the diversity of our world. b. Bolster administrative infrastructure with the goal of increasing retention of underrepresented students. c. Create a diversity resource center at the CCA website. Dream Big Extension Goals 2016-20 Goal 6: Develop an integrated and environmentally sustainable campus in San Francisco with 1000 new beds. The PSSG devised a statement of values that represents the college's core principles as they pertain to sustainability. These basic tenants are drawn upon frequently to ensure all future growth -- curricular, technological, architectural -- takes into consideration these best-practice guidelines. Minimize harm and optimize benefits to the environment and society in our daily endeavors Apply the sustainability values we teach to our students to our facilities, transportation, and purchasing and investing practices Provide the tools and resources that motivate our community members to be sustainability leaders Draw on and contribute to the resources, knowledge, and initiatives uniquely available in the San Francisco Bay Area Foster an academic and operational culture of continuing sustainability innovation Identify and promote career opportunities in sustainable practices for our students

- Launch strategic marketing plan with Mission Bay Carpool Coalition and Scoop by March 2018 -By Jan 2019, hit 500 SCOOP rides per month at a 10% staff penetration rate -Decrease single person vehicles on the road by 20% be increasing use of public transportation and carpool -Increase Commuter Benefits enrollment by 10% by Jan 2019 - Continuing partnership with Storer Transportation Services, to transport students via intercampus shuttle. Storer continues to provide its customers with clean, low-carbon and efficient transportation services and maintain all certifications and memberships as in priors years for this survey. - CCA has joined the Mission Bay Carpool Coalition, a group of employers located in the Mission Bay Neighborhood of San Francisco, resourced by Carpool Partner SCOOP. - CCA has also developed a relationship with the SF Department of the Environment and will be presenting CCA's Carpool and Sustainable Transportation plans to a group of Employers at a luncheon in March 2018, with the Goal of sharing and learning industry best practices. -CCA has established a new Partnership with Mission Bay TMA, a privately funded public shuttle service, servicing Employers in the Mission Bay Neighborhood during peak commute hours (6AM-10AM and 3PM-8PM, Monday Through Friday). This service is free to all CCA students, staff and faculty, and picks up conveniently at the Civic Center Bart Station, which is also one block from Panoramic Residences. - Launched new Transportation landing page which provides easy access to all sustainable transportation options, lists discounts, and features commute testimonials from staff, faculty, and students on CCA's Portal https://portal.cca.edu/campus/transportation - Plans to launch strategic marketing effort to create buy-in and buzz for SCOOP carpool. - New Ford GoBike station launched on campus, and near both off-campus residence halls. Negotiated and marketed CCA specific discounts for Ford GoBike. - Joined the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition, offered Urban biking workshops to the CCA Community - Offer parking discounts for Electric Vehicles - Provide all incoming new CCA students with Clipper Cards during orientation week, provide overview of sustainable transportation options and benefits.

The Wellness Committee of the Staff Advisory Council is working on Wellbeing Initiatives. The Wellness Committee is working on developing measurable objectives in conjunction with an overall wellness strategy. The committee participated in an educational session in Feb. 2018 led by Willis Towers Watson to learn more about wellness options, and how to best develop an employee wellness program that is sustainable and successful
