A brief description of the institution’s community garden:

The gardens and parks at the Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University, the pioneer of higher agricultural education in Egypt and the Arab world, contain a huge plant wealth that expresses the originality and heritage of this scientific institution. It stands as a beacon for life sciences. This plant wealth includes a distinct environmental diversity, consisting of trees and plants. Niya is a main pillar of its life, and with its beauty and plants it adds splendor and incomparable beauty that adorns the sides of the college and its departments, so that the members of the teaching staff, students, employees, and community visitors to the college can enjoy and be happy to see it throughout the year, as the college administration is keen on preserving its history since Its establishment in 1981 aimed to develop this plant wealth with different and new species.
In addition to water Garden in the faculty of agriculture.

Cairo University and in cooperation with the “Hengmalha” Foundation for Sustainable Development, planted more than 500 fruits trees. This foundation is a community association that help in encourgmnet of community members to plant thier trees in The campus.
