A brief description of the incentive program(s):
Adding environmental dimension to Cairo University curricula discussed
CAIRO – 12 October 2019: Minister of Environment Yasmine Fouad and President of Cairo University Mohamed Othman el-Khosht met to discuss adding an environmental dimension to the curricula of different faculties.

The move aims to raise the awareness of students, and citizens in general, of the environmental issues and encourage researches in the field.
- In addition training of students, staff and employees about different topics of sustainability development were held continuously all over the year.

A brief description of the incentives that academic staff who participate in the program(s) receive:
The sustainability training offered to staff has helped develop courses across the campus. Examples of some of the postgraduate courses are:
-Understanding of Sustainability and Climate Change Across Egypt.
- Sustainable Environments
- Stimulating sustainable development with heritage
