The CUES publishes a sustainability newsletter twice a year for the entire Butler community focused on campus events, community events, and awareness of sustainability issues. The CUES also has an Instagram and Facebook where we highlight campus events, community events, sustainability jobs, sustainability news, volunteer opportunities, and info about campus sustainability initiatives.

A brief description of the signage that highlights sustainability features on campus:
Food signage around composting and local farms can be seen in Atherton Union as well as in the Residential College dining hall.
Signage about landfill and recycling can be observed at various stations across campus.
Signs reminding students and staff to turn off lights when they leave rooms are posted campus-wide.
All LEED buildings have signage on the outside of the building denoting their LEED certification level.
Two spots on campus, the Butler Prairie and detention pond, have educational and informational signage about their importance in habitat diversity and water retention respectively.
