Butler University has multiple rain gardens for diverting walk from streets and parking lots and uses porous asphalt. All sprinklers are on timers to control the quantity of water being used to water the malls. The pharmacy building also has a green roof. The Center for Urban Ecology Farm has a rain barrel for water collection.
