Part 1. Greenhouse gas emissions inventory
Yes
A copy of the most recent GHG emissions inventory:
A brief description of the methodology and/or tool used to complete the GHG emissions inventory:
SIMAP was used to calculate the carbon footprint. Data was uploaded using the Campus Carbon Calculator. Estimates were utilized to calculate scope 3 emissions and assumptions used in prior years. Therefore, all scope 3 data is of low confidence.
Has the GHG emissions inventory been validated internally by personnel who are independent of the GHG accounting and reporting process and/or verified by an independent, external third party?:
Yes
A brief description of the GHG inventory verification process:
SIMAP has reviewed the information.
Documentation to support the GHG inventory verification process:

A brief description of how the institution accounted for its Scope 3 emissions:
Scope 3 emissions at Bucknell are primarily driven by the following activities in the order of percentage of sources:
1. Air travel
2. Faculty/Staff Commute
3. Study Abroad
4. T&D Losses
5. Paper Purchasing
6. Solid Waste
7. Student Commute

A brief description of the methodology(ies) the institution used to complete its air emissions inventory:
A spreadsheet of the SIMAP approved format and information is forwarded to experts across the university who provide the actual data. Data from these experts is submitted to the SIMAP platform where the conversions and calculations are completed to determine carbon footprint in the three scopes.
