Does the institution host a food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource focused on alleviating food insecurity, hunger and poverty among students?:
Yes

A brief description of the food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource:

B-Eats Food Pantry
Students in need of nutritious meal items can stop by the B-Eats food pantry located in the Elaine Langone Center and choose from a variety of groceries, fresh produce, refrigerated items and frozen meals from Bucknell Dining Services, no questions asked. The pantry is open Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–8 p.m.

Located on a hill above the South Campus Apartments, Bucknell's 5-acre farm offers an interdisciplinary space for academic connections, sustainable food production, student life and wellness and community engagement.

Established in 2018, the farm builds on the success of the Lewisburg Community Garden, a collaboration between the University and Lewisburg Borough that addresses local food insecurity by growing organic produce for a nearby hot-meal program.

Sustainable Food Production
In addition to being a space for educational exploration, the farm is intended to grow food for Bucknell Dining Services — replacing some produce trucked in from afar with organic fruits and vegetables grown right on campus. A composting space on site also sustainably converts food waste from campus dining venues into nutrients to grow new food.
