Bucknell holds two regional conferences a year - 1. Sustainability Symposium with several universities 2. River Symposium with universities, NGOs and government agencies.

Before COVID-19, our Director of Campus Sustainability was a member of the AASHE Advisory Council and Co-Chair of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) Diversity, Equity and Justice Working Group. Currently, the Director of Campus Sustainability serves on the Diversity & Inclusion Committee and is a member of the Smart Energy Decisions Advisory Board.

Bucknell is a key member (with a Chairperson position) and periodically hosts meetings of the Pennsylvania Environmental Resources Consortium (PERC). Additionally, each year the University conducts the Susquehanna River Symposium in the Fall and Sustainability Symposium in the Spring.
