A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:
Staff members of the BCSE went through the faculty and staff list on each department's website and search for faculty and staff who list some aspect of sustainability as their research foci.  For the staff included as researchers, we also looked at the staff websites of offices that also house researchers, including the Center for Sustainability and the Environment, the Humanities Center, and Library and Information Technology.
