Our EAP through Health Advocate provides six free counseling sessions, both telephonically, as well as referrals to local providers that participate with the employee's health plan.
The Be Well wellness initiative is a participation based wellness program offering a variety of "lunch and learns" and 4-week workshops on topics of nutrition, exercise, stress management, and financial wellness. Also offered are the CDC's 16-week Diabetes Prevention Program and 17-week Weight Watchers series, at no cost to the participants.
Onsite biometric screenings are provided to assist employees with knowing the current state of their health. Unlimited access to two on-site wellness coaches is also provided under the program at no cost.
Student wellness is promoted via multiple avenues including healthy/organic eating, an on campus health clinic that has educational sessions on how to stay healthy, and a student counseling office that offers a full range of confidential mental health services.
