Total GSF excludes LEED Certified new const from FY14-18, vacant spaces, and otherwise normally vacated spaces (barns, storage shed, utility support structures). We have been using the ARC criteria (www.arcskoru.com) for Academic West. It has scored at 84 points, which is a platinum performance level. Arc doesn't offer certifications. However, Bucknell has been working with USGBC and ARC to improve the LEED O+M certification. Under v4.1 ARC is a primary data source for the O+M certification. We are participating as a beta test site for the v4.1 O+M certification. It is not included in this section as AASHE does not consider this a "certification".

All building automation systems are centrally monitored by a full time energy manager and by a third party vendor to minimize energy usage. Temperature setpoints are centrally managed. Buildings not connected to the automation systems are monitored by Facilities staff to ensure temperatures are correct and equipment is operating efficiently. Building utility meters are monitored and benchmarked at least monthly.
