At the AASHE conference, Bucknell University was a Supporter Host Institution for the 2018 AASHE Conference in Pittsburgh. Bucknell held a booth in the Expo Hall at the event, and Bucknell's Sustainability Manager, Debbie Namugayi, was the presenter for a networking event focused on diversity and inclusion in higher education sustainability work

We have submitted to the Sustainability Champions awards through the Pennsylvania Environmental Resources Consortium (PERC) during multiple years. In 2017/2018 Lauren O'Connor won this award for Bucknell University. Lauren O'Connor's work includes working as the Energy & Sustainability Intern, developing, discovering, and managing implementation of resource efficiency projects on campus. The Green Fund Committee has approved and funded five of her projects, including a hand drier initiative, water conservation project, and LED lighting project. Also, during the summer of 2018, Dalton Steward and Abbie Winter, Sustainability Interns, worked with faculty advisers and won Best Poster in Arts, Humanities, and Sciences for "Exploring Sustainability through Campus Lanscapes" at the Susquehanna Valley Undergraduate Research Symposium. Bucknell's Sustainability manager at the time, Debbie Namugayi, also received an award from PERC for her outstanding work in the construction of the Office of Campus Sustainability.

Debbie Namugayi, previously Bucknell's Sustainability Manager, is a member of the AASHE Advisory Council and serves on the Diversity & Inclusion Committee. Kathy Monteiro is on the Board of Directors for the Central PA Chapter of USGBC.

Bucknell periodically hosts meetings of the Pennsylvania Environmental Resources Consortium (PERC), such as their 2015 student research symposium. In Spring 2017, Bucknell partnered with Susquehanna University and the Campus Compact of New York and Pennsylvania to establish Sowing Change, a resource network for campus and community gardens focused on sustainable agriculture and reducing food waste.
