A brief description of the undergraduate degree program:
The Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Environmental Science emphasizes the physical, chemical, and biological sciences, and incorporates coursework in social sciences, history, literature, and business. You will be able to specialize in areas of interest such as ecosystems and biodiversity, environmental analysis and assessment, sustainability and environmental management, and climate change.
Graduates from the Environmental Studies program (major and minors) have gone on to careers in environmental management companies, the solar industry, coastal management agencies, teaching, and GIS applications; or have enrolled in and completed programs in environmental policy, energy management, corporate sustainability, and climate change studies, at Columbia, University of Pennsylvania, Duke University, and other well-known universities.

The Integrated Sustainability Certificate seeks to empower students with a deeper understanding of system resilience, development of an interdisciplinary perspective, and acquisition of smart management fundamentals, thus equipping graduates with skills and experiences to lead the transformation to a sustainable global society, environment and economy.
