A sustainability website is maintained as a repository for all sustainability related activities taking place on campus with links to other websites for organizations, programs, and projects. The entire campus community can access the website and there is an opportunity for visitors to leave questions and comments for future sustainability efforts.

Bryant University utilizes social media platforms to educate the community on sustainability practices and initiatives and to raise awareness concerning sustainability on campus. Marketing campaigns are rolled out using Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram with a primary target market focus on students and alumni. Postings and updates across these platforms act as a catalyst to engage the community in a collaborative effort to continue learning about sustainability and how to implement sustainable practices into campus life.

The Communications and Engagement working group (part of the Sustainability Committee) is exploring implementing a student position on campus to manage all social media accounts for Sustainability at Bryant.

The University maintains a website archive of all reports prepared by Honors students. Many of these projects focus on sustainable solutions to complex societal problems and often these projects are also published in academic journals.

Recycling collection centers are well marked and streamlined across campus with signage to indicate the recycling locations.

Additionally, the Student Sustainability Ambassadors have created new recycling signage for the residence halls and across campus to better inform the campus community as to what can and cannot be recycled.

A poster positioned above the trash chutes notifies the students that food waste should be left on plates so that the dining services can properly dispose of it in a sustainable way. Several infographics explain in depth how various food items served in the dining hall are sustainability sourced. Aramark also displays the company’s commitment to the fair treatment of animals through several infographics. Additionally, there are various forms of signage that explain the importance of locally grown and sourced foods. Several posters list the name and location of the local farms and farmers from which Bryant dining supports and purchases from.

Commuters are informed of bus services to and from campus, and residents have available options for bus and van services.

The Wellness Center Manager created an educational safety guide for runners, walkers, and cyclists. The guide outlines basic safety tips that university students and faculty should take into consideration when running on or off campus. The guide also includes a series of routes with highlighted maps, distances, and terrain level.

Guidelines have been developed for effective recycling practices in all campus residence halls, and resident assistants are trained to encourage recycling by residents. Continuing work will take place to establish a model green suite.

In May 2011, a student organization, SIFE, produced the Bryant University Green Report summarizing sustainability information for 2010/2011. This report was distributed to the campus community.

Bryant's Office of University Advancement publishes a quarterly magazine, BRYANT. The Spring 2010 issue was focused on sustainability, "Solving the People, Profit, and Planet Puzzle." It included three major articles about sustainability and a targeted message from the President underscoring the importance of sustainability in everything we do.
