A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:
The Brunswick County Intercultural Festival is dedicated to "Bringing the World to Brunswick County" by showcasing the diversity that exists inside of the county and surrounding areas. Each year we celebrate the many cultures that are in our area with food, music, dance, story-telling,and education. The Festival takes place the Saturday after Labor Day on the grounds of Odell Williamson Auditorium on the campus of Brunswick Community College in Bolivia, N.C.
Mission To promote and share the cultural diversity of Brunswick County, NC.
The International Pavilion is always a highlight of the Brunswick County Intercultural Festival. The idea behind the pavilion is to bring the community’s diverse cultures and different ethnic backgrounds into the public with displays of art, costumes, landscape, history, books, demonstrations and music.
