Brock offers in house seminars as well as special events when possible. Both seminars and events are open to all students and faculties with the proper registration, at no personal cost. The Brock Seminars are held by master and doctoral students and cover all topics relating to sustainability, including impacts of Climate Change, methods of sustainability, how to be sustainable in your work and personal life amongst other topics.
When possible, Brock has opted to host events such as Ontario Association of Physical Plant Administrators (OAPPA) in 2023, the Niagara Climate Change Summit in 2022, and frequent tours of Brock's District Energy System (DES). The events focus on subjects including pathways to net zero emissions, decarbonization, goals and decisions to reduce carbon resource and use and more.

As a University, Brock understands the importance of ongoing improvements and development through continuous training. Brock supports staff development through payment or reimbursement of external classes. Examples of these classes include items part of ASHRAE's Learning Institute, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Professional certification and Building Automation System (BAS) Training.
