A brief description of the undergraduate minor or concentration:
The Minor in Sustainability is offered through the Environmental Sustainability Research Centre (ESRC). The ESRC is a transformative and creative transdisciplinary community dedicated to research and education for advancing environmental sustainability locally and globally. The Minor in Environmental Sustainability provides students with core skills necessary for problem-solving in the modern world as businesses and governments adhere to new environmental legislation, and society adapts to a changing world. Students will have the opportunity to study sustainability issues from a transdisciplinary perspective, thinking outside the traditional boundaries of their discipline, and gain practical insight into how Canada and the world is moving forward to address these issues.

Micro-certificate in Environmental Sustainability

A brief description of the undergraduate minor or concentration (2nd program):
The Micro-certificate in Environmental Sustainability is designed for those who already have a degree or who do not wish to pursue a degree. The program consists of required courses which introduce students to conceptual and applied aspects of environmental sustainability.

The Micro-certificate in Environmental Sustainability is awarded upon completion of the following online courses with minimum 60 percent overall average:
- ENSU 2P01
- ENSU 2P02
