A brief description of the institution’s community garden:
The Brock University Community Garden is located steps away from Theal House, the home of the Environmental Sustainability Research Centre. Every year, those who are looking to cultivate their green thumb in the Brock community are invited to use one of the several free garden plots, assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. In previous years, gardeners have planted and tended to pollinator plants, an assortment of herbs, tomatoes, red cabbage, carrots, and many others. Participation is encouraged, whether experienced or not, the community garden provides an opportunity to learn about gardening and spend some time outdoors.
