BCIT uses Sugar Sheet paper for roughly 93% of its paper purchasing. Sugar Sheets are manufactured using the waste fibre generated from sugar cane processing.
Another 1% of paper purchases are 30% recycled. The remaining 6% of purchases are miscellaneous and are purchased sporadically throughout the year, and therefore have been estimated as made from 0% recycled materials.
